"Peace Through The Storm"

“You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you.” Isaiah 26:3 ESV

This painting is more than art—it’s a testimony. It’s the first piece created since surviving 2 SCAD heart attacks and undergoing an emergency open-heart double bypass (CABG) surgery. As I painted this ocean scene, I felt God’s peace settle in—a supernatural peace that I had received through the storm. The layered blues and soft horizon reflect the promise of Isaiah 26:3. This work is not only an ocean scene but a testimony—that peace is possible in and through the aftermath of life’s fiercest storms. Each brushstroke carries gratitude for healing and hope for what’s ahead.

Canvas Features:

We use responsibly sourced wood for stretcher bars, mainly FSC certified wood, to make our canvas prints, ensuring a long-lasting and high-quality product.

The slim canvas has an approximately 2cm /0.8" thick wood stretcher bar, while the thick canvas has an approximately 4cm /1.6" thick wood stretcher bar. We use coated fabric, a blend of cotton and polyester, for our canvas substrate. This provides a weight of approximately 300-350gsm/110-130lb cover and a thickness of 350-400 microns, giving you a sturdy and durable product.
To ensure no damage during transportation, we ship our canvas prints in protective packaging and strong boxes.
